About Me

Hello, I am Ember Luna, an award-winning, international, interdisciplinary movement/performance/ritual artist and teacher based out of Oakland, California. I have been dancing and playing the guzheng or Chinese zither for over two decades now. My dance background is in Chinese classical/ folk dance, contemporary, waacking, hip hop, pole, and more. I enjoy teaching movement exploration especially around authentic erotic expression.

I view my movement and expression as a connection to the Divine, a way to transmute the invisible, impalpable, the transcendental into something that can be seen, felt, and experienced in the physical world by others.

This website is under construction at the moment. Eventually, it will house more of my projects, offerings, information on my performances/galleries, and detailed documentation of my bodysuit journey with @fibs_. (P.s. I’m looking to share more of my tattoo journey—if you’re a podcaster or tatoo journalist, reach out!)

(Please note that I am growing out my hair at this time).

I do currently require to have my travel accommodated for for creative projects; however, feel free to contact me regardless so I can reach out to you if or when I do make plans in your city. I feel called to be in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Bali, Japan, China to name a few places in the near future.
